Great grandpa passed away 11-14-25 after a long battle with Parkinsons.
Opening morning this buck, that everyone in the area has been talking about, made it past my mom hunting too early, came into my field but had no shot, thought I missed my chance when we went through the woods into the next field. But he circled back around and came back into my field. Presented perfect broadside shot about 70 yard. .308 to the heart and still ran 70 yards but dropped. Buck of a lifetime where we hunt. Thank you lucky squirrel socks and a nudge from great grandpa.
