I found this spot last year scouting after the season and fell in love with the tranquility of the setting. My son and I sat in this area with one primary goal……not see another hunter all day. Secondary goal was getting a buck. At 10:45 am this guy showed up with one other buck and gave me a shot at about 40 yds. The Remington 870 12 Gauge slug did it’s job and dropped him right on the spot on the other side of the creek I was hunting by. And with that as a backdrop (right where he dropped) this will be one of my favorite hunts/photos for a long time.
