This buck came in tending a doe but he wouldn’t give me a shot. I saw the doe bed down, but thought the buck left. About an hour later, she stood up and the buck reappeared. He finally gave me a broadside shot through a very narrow window at about 75 yards. I didn’t realize how big he was until after I shot him.
