Been seeing a group of young bucks spikes , forked horns basket racks but nothing with any size feeding on acorns everyday ! Then on the morning of Dec 7th I had this guy on camera with the group for first time .. knowing that he would more than likely be with them that night I was at the acorn flat they been feeding on . That evening I caught movement in the thick woods leading to the acorn flat the group of young bucks were coming out !! Sure enough I caught a glimpse of a big rack he was with them he came out feeding let him get to about 130 yards and shot him in shoulder with my savage 110 trail hunter lite 400 legend took his lungs out he made a mad dash about 100 yards and piled up !!
