I was sitting in a hunting shack with my uncle that overlooked a food plot. Around a half an hour before dark, deer started to come in. They started to come in 2 or 3 at a time until there was about ten in front of us. One deer came in from the right and I looked at it’s head and thought I saw horns and that’s when I got really excited. This was about five minutes before legal light ended. I put my 20 yard crosshair behind his shoulder and pulled the trigger. I saw him jump and I knew I hit him. He ran about 150 yards. We found out he was quartering a little to us, so it went in through the lungs and came out in the guts. That was my fifth deer and my first buck ever.
