I seen the buck running some does and decided to try and make a stalk on him. After a hour an half I wasnt able to close the distance and I lost visual. On my walk through the thick area where I had last seen the deer I found myself eye to eye with the majestic buck at 15yds. In disbelief I managed to come to full draw and get a arrow into his left shoulder. The buck crashed through yds away. I had know idea the buck was as big as he was. He gross scored 179 2/8. I’m currently waiting to see if he will become the New Lake County Typical Whitetail Record…
