I have been watching this big 8 point that we named Tex, on trail cam since velvet. Tonight he came in behind another nice 8 and offered me a 20 yard broadside shot. The rain came in soon after the shot so we called in team with dogs and were able to locate him within a few hundred yards of the shot.
