This big fella was pushing around a group of does and smaller bucks in the alfalfa, on the closing hour of opening day 2021. He was across a ditch bank from my blind, and moved into an area that exposed him from the remainder of the group at 200 yards. When he presented a slightly quartering towards opportunity, I touched off a round out of my grandpa’s hand-me-down 30-06, and he never took another step.
