Third day into the season, didn’t see a whole lot of activity in three days, I was thinking I wasn’t going to see anything thing so I started getting things ready to pack out out of the woods. Then decided I’ve come five hours away, I better stay until I can’t see anymore and then around 4:30pm two doe come in to the bait, a few more minutes go by looking through my scope I saw a big rack come in, put cross hairs on him and fired a shot the second I saw him, it happened so fast I didn’t know if I even go him. I called my uncle and brother and we looked some more and finally found a few hairs and a little blood, and after that the search was on, it was pitch black out by then, my uncle was looking the direction I told him it ran, and he was about thirty yards from the pile. My first big buck ever, I thought he was an eight point at least because of low lighting but surprised me that it was a ten, definitely a nice yooper buck
