I’m 41yrs old and have had muscular dystrophy for 10 years now and am wheelchair bound so my time in the outdoors is limited. I went out friday afternoon with my cousin to hunt a friend’s bean field got setup around 3pm on the east side and we watched 13 turkeys play around for several hours and some squirrels. About 640 my cousin Matthew scanned the field with his binoculars and said excitedly grab your gun chris there’s a big body deer 150 yrds in front of us. So I gathered my whits and calmed myself so I could get my sites on it and at 130 yrds I shot an the deer jumped like it was hit but acted weird. So I racked a new shell and once the deer turned broadside I shot em in the shoulder and dropped dead in it’s tracks. Huge shout out to my cousin Matthew and Shane for all there help and strength to make this wonderful independence hunt one to remember.
