Did an all day sit. 4:45, I thought I seen heavy antlers back in the brush picked up the binoculars couldn’t see if it was my target buck which I named Bullwinkle. About 15 minutes passed by. I had five does come in to graze in my food plot. One doe was a very big mature doe. She kept looking back at where I thought I seen heavy antlers. So I picked up my binoculars again. Looked out and there he was 175 yd coming in super hot. He grunted like five times came in chased after her went around this crabapple tree. Thought he was going to be out of sight and out of mind! He ended up doing a big horseshoe around the tree. Grunted twice came in at 18 yd and I made a perfect broadside shot. Got to watch my knock light up on my arrow arrow. Traveled past through him which was the first time ever got to see that. He mule kicked where his nose almost touched the ground. He went 60 yd. I watched him crash and I could see him belly up.
