Friday October 4th was my first day out for the start of the season. I did a morning hunt in Shiawasse county with my dad and we had alot of activity. No shooter bucks though. I decided to go to another property for my evening hunt and drove down to Hillsdale county. When I pulled up to the property there was some other friends of mine doing an evening hunt as well. They showed me one picture that we had on the camera of this buck on the property. The picture was taken on October 2nd. So we all headed out for our evening hunt. I sat in a treestand in the vacinty of where the picture was taken. 40 minutes before dark he came out of the bedding in front of me, went to the south of me and headed into a bean field that was behind me. He checked it out, there was other bucks out there and does. For some reason he only spent just about 10 minutes in the bean field and headed back to the bedding. His chosen pathway with coming back into the bedding was 15-20 yards to the south of the stand I was in. He presented me with a shot. The rest is history!!!! Non-typical, Gross score 170-3/8, Net score 165-1/8.
