Been after this buck since last year when i missed him on a close encounter with my bow the day before gun season. Since then he has haunted and eluded me. Showing uo regularly on trail cam on our property and the neighbor’s. Found one of his sheds in the spring. Opening morning came and went with not much activity. When I went to head out for the afternoon hunt asked if he could tag along and watch. About 4:50 pm this bruiser walked into my field following a doe. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I put a 175 yard shot on him and he went down after a short dart back and forth in the field. Then my phone blew up seems the whole block witnessed what had just happened. I’m blessed to say the least!
