Clare Keating

The evening of 12/5, my Fiancée asked me to take her hunting to do some “Doe Patrol.” We set up my pop up blind, got in position, and started our hunt. Where we hunt, like clock work, Does come into our field each evening the last 15 minutes of light. With that being said, neither of us were to alert when this fella walked out around 4:50pm. Clare was munching Cheez-Its and I was on my phone when I caught him out of the corner of my eye. After giving her a brief pep talk and reminded her of the steps we have practiced for, she took the shot. This 8pt made it barely 80 yards from the impact spot and we were able to see she made an amazing double lung shot from about 100 yards out. She’s now hooked for life! Very Proud!
