I was hunting out of a blind overlooking a small hayfield, with a large cornfield beyond that out in front of me, to the south.

He came from the north, behind me, and stepped out directly in front of me. I took the shot, which i estimated to be maybe 25-30 yards. He took off running and i knew he was hit. He ran about 60 yards away to the southeast into the cornfield, dropped and that was it. It was truly a being in the right place at the right time situation.
