We jumped some deer going in to the stand. We saw some does early and at 9:40 thought we heard a grunt. I picked up my grunt call and called a couple times. Immediately a doe comes flying into the woods with the small 7 point behind her. He stopped I shot and he dropped after 50 yards. 15 minutes later I look up and the bigger 7 point was about 100 yards away. I grunted a couple times and he came right in to 40 yards. I shot and he didn’t make it very far. This is the first year I ever got 2 deer on the same day. Definitely a day I will never forget.
