It was 6:50pm and the sun had just about set and I heard something go behind probably 100 yards out, so I gave it a tending grunt call and he responded by running straight through the woods to the cornfield I was hunting. He stopped probably 30 yards out and made a scrape and then came out to 20 yards and I double lunged him. Shot him at 7:05. First buck with a bow and I couldn’t be happier.
