Jumped him while scouting tree work done recently by the power company, watched him run about a half mile across cut beans into standing corn and never thought I’d see him again. Fast forward to the next morning, I get a text from my dad saying “that big one just ran across the road in front of me, he’s a dandy” took him about an hour to make it a little over a half mile to me. Perfect shot placement, piled up after 50 yds.
