We got settled in the blind at 4pm, hunting with the worst wind possible, BUT made it happen. While spraying dead down wind scent a way spray on both of about every 10 minutes the giant bear made his appearance at 7:27pm. One shot from the Model 70 Winchester .270 Weatherby Mag and he only made it 25 yards. This is Connor’s second bear. Last year he shot a 160 pound dressed boar, by receiving my parents gifted bear tags, this year and last. Just a unbelievable hunt that will last forever!!! The skull was green scored at 20 2/16″
