I was siting in my blind with my Dad. My Dad seen a deer he said it was a buck. I put my 243 out the window. And I got ready. My Dad said it was a 7 point. It was kind in a angle and it was looking at us. I lined it up with the cross hairs. I took off the safety and the gun went boom I could not hear out of my left ear. I knew I smoked it. Me and my Dad waited in the blind for about 7 minutes. When we went to go see if it was dead. My Dad seen it get back up and walked 20 yards. I was trying to find the deer through the scope in the popple trees, I could see it’s tail moving. I only could see its butt. It laid back down in the bushes. We went back to the blind and waited for 1 hour. We went back to find him and he died right where he laid down.
