Was fortunate enough to shoot my first buck on my own property, with my Great Grandpa’s 1967 Bear Kodiak Magnum. He was dogging a doe and came from where I’d least expected deer to appear. After tangling myself in my harness and watching them make two loops, he gave me a hard, quartering-to, 2.5 yard shot. Found him 150 yards away with a little help from Brynlee. Awesome hunt, couldn’t be more thankful!
