After a very quiet ghost town week of firearm opener, I asked my daughter if she wanted to go hunting with me. Our usual spot is in gratiot county, but I went to Clinton County with the kiddo. At about 4:30pm I seen this fella come in and we got him. He has been on camera daily as the bully of the herd. A broken brow tine and a 22 wound in his eye(entry wound) and neck(exit wound) from what i would only assume an attempted poach. My daughter calls herself the good luck charm since we always get something with her in our shack. He may not be a stud, but hes a good harvest nonetheless. Blessed to put food on the table for another year.
