Wasn’t expecting to see anything promising since the opening of gun season all I was seeing were small deer. It was a light drizzle out and I look to my left and I see him coming out of the thick brush. He was about 50 yards away and I could see he had a good set of antlers on him. I get my gun up, get the cross hair behind his front shoulder pull the trigger. I thought I missed the way he acted. Then he stopped and I went to get my gun up on him again he was gone. It started to rain hard at this point so I got out of my stand went to the last place I saw him and found him. He didn’t even go 20 yards. Main frame 8 scorable 9 point. Beats my last years buck as my biggest buck to date. Will be getting it scored at a later date.
