First deer ever on Saturday the 14th! Dakota is 8 years old and wanted a buck in velvet, he got it! He’s tagged along with his mom and dad to go out hunting for quite a few years but this time it was his turn. We waited about an hour watching him at about 45 yards. Wanted a close shot for his first deer and thankfully a smaller spike lead the way while he followed him and walked in front of our blind within less than 20 yards and Dakota was able to take his shot.
