I rattled 3 times bout 1/2 hr before light . Seen it at first light bout 400 yards away thought it was a big doe till it stared trotting toward a fencerow then I could see the horns !!! I grunted at he got to the fencerow and stared tearing up the brush when he stopped I hit my doe can a couple times he started my way then stopped I hit the grunt call again he started making a scrape and really tearing up the brush I hit the grunt again and he came straight in quartering toward me bout 18 yards aimed at the back of the shoulder and let it fly he went bout 200 yards and watched him pile up !!! 9 pt 19-1/2 inside spread live weight 225 dressed 175!!
