On the 18th was doing an all day sit in hopes of some action during the rut. Saw plenty of doe and a couple spikes. Around 4:20 had two doe and a button buck in. Heard some grunting aways away so started looking. Had another grunt right next to me and the smaller 8 came in. Heart shot him at 20 yards. Didn’t go 20. The next day after finding out the big 8 was still alive, I had to go sit. My girlfriend came with for the afternoon sit. Plenty of action between does and some younger bucks. Eventually around 4:25 in the corner of my eye I see the big boy rolling in. A bunch of the doe took off and with this buck getting ready to chase, I had to make it quick. Shot him at 40 yards. Went about 20 and dropped. Best season yet. Big thanks to my dad with the help this season.
