I came home for the weekend from Wisconsin, with a couple bucks on camera. I ended up getting up in my saddle at 3ish and waited til about 6 before I had anything come in. I had a doe come in and ended up catching my wind and busting me. About an hour later I had a little spike come in. He hung out for a while until some action sparked up in the swamp. He got all alert and in came two 8 points running in. With all the commotion I grabbed my bow and drew back. As soon as the first 8 came in, I double lunged him at 15 yards. He ended up crashing about 20 yards away. He was my target buck for the year, and my biggest Yooper buck to date.
