Dalton Armour

First bow kill in almost 10 years and it couldn’t have gone any better! Been watching this deer since early July. He was typically coming in between 1am-4am until Oct 15th. His pattern started to bounce between 9/10pm – 5/6am and each day seemed like he was starting to move earlier. Had a good feeling he was going to be out around 6pm that night but wasn’t able to get into my stand until 5:30 so I had 0 expectations of not getting caught coming in. Got settled into the stand and sure enough, 6:15pm rolled around and here he was walking straight to me! Turned broadside at 30 yards, knew I hit a little far forward but it sounded but still felt pretty good about the shot. Waited till dark to get down and found him 40 yards away.
