Opening morning had 6 doe’s come through about 5:45am. I was expecting the buck to follow them out. But he didn’t. I sat until 8:45 through out some bleats and grunts. I was over looking a swamp to my left and caught his legs coming through the swamp. I grunted a few times and through out a doe bleat and sprayed some sent. It drove him nuts I could hear him thrashing the brush. I knew I had him. He took one step in my view pulled up my 300 win. mag seen the rack got to a 4 count on the left side and knew I had to take him. Hands down the best opening day I have ever had.
