Around 3 o’clock I saw him walking the tree line but never got a clear shot or could get him to stop. About an hour later a doe came in alone and I knew he had to be after her. About 15 minutes later I saw him where she came out but only could see his head and neck. They locked eyes and I knew I needed to get a shot off or they were bolting outta there. Took him straight on in the neck and he dropped in his tracks.
