Got out to my stand 1 hour before daylight opening morning, got all settled in only to realize I had forgotten to bring rifle shells with me they were back at camp, my dad who was hunting a few hundred yards away could not help me out he uses a 300 mag, I had my 30-06. I did have a sidearm with me so I sat with that the first few hours, then decided to make a run back to camp and get rifle shells, that’s when my dad took this nice buck, I am sure I spooked it to him
