I’ve hunted this buck for 3 seasons, I know he is a 4.5 year old deer which is a hard deer to come by in northern Michigan public land country. Was blessed with a beautiful cold front after weeks of hot temps and he read the script. 15 yard shot quartering to me hard (a shot I never take) but I made an exception for this deer and the dice rolled in my favor. Shot was high in the base of the neck and exited 8 inches behind the shoulder. He went 60 yards. I am so grateful for a clean/quick kill on this buck I respected as an adversary for 3 seasons. Could not be more thankful for a great trophy and a heck of a lot of meat of this brute
