I was out in the deer blind with my dad and was waiting for it a deer to come in. Then my dad movies a deer coming in from the right hand side. I was holding my crossbow and did not see the deer yet. My dad pointed out the deer so I reposition my bow to face directly in front of me at 20 yards. My dad turned off the safety and told me to make sure it was in the right spot. I told him it was and he told me to pull the trigger when I was ready. I pulled the trigger and watch the deer do a high kick and then run away. I waited until dark to track the deer. He only went about 30 yards. This was my very first buck.
