Sunday morning, David woke me up and said he was gonna go get a huge buck with dad. Half awake, I wished him luck, told them to be safe and that I would keep my phone on standby. Less than 2 hrs later my phone rang and David told me he did it and "smoked a huge one with the perfect shot!" The pure excitement in his voice made me so happy!
Proud is an understatement! This boy and his love for the outdoors and passion for hunting (and fishing) never ceases to amaze me. 🦌💙
This hunt has an extra special feel, as it is our family's 1st buck harvested since our house fire to rebuild the collection we lost this past November. 🫶🏽👏🏼
