Tuesday morning shot him with the compound and after a long tracking job didn’t get him. Had work and family obligations Wednesday and Thursday so Friday morning I had to go back to the same spot to try and get eyes on him. Shot a doe around 9am and was dragging her out when I looked ahead and there he was thirty yds ahead on the trail, bedded down and still alive three days later. Was able to shoot him with the gun this time and make it count for good. I am very blessed.
