I am 9 yrs. and this is my 2nd deer. My dad and I got in the stand at 5:45. I have cold and couldn’t stop coughing. But at 6:45 am my dad spotted him and a doe coming down the north ridge 90 yards away. She split off and snuck out in front of us as he turned straight towards us. He slipped behind some small pines 24 yards away. I lined my shot up, the doe winded is and ran off and he was about to when I pulled the trigger. We heard a loud whack and I was so excited but my dad made me wait to run down. I found blood first and started tracking him which was tonight but we found him luckily after 150 yards.
