Great morning in the woods!! Opening day I passed up 7 different bucks & seen 18 doe. 2nd day passed up 4 smaller bucks seen 9 doe and 3 shooters 2 of which are hanging in the garage!! 8 point and a 10 point!!!! The brute of an 8 came in around 7 am right directly to a scent wick I had 100 yds out covered in VS-1 doe estrous.. 10 point came out on a doe that crossed logging trail and made the mistake of stopping in trail 280 yds out and I got it done with Dads Browning bolt action 30-06 !!! Great hunt!!! Have been seeing both of these bucks on bow hunts and on camera
Just never gave me a shot with the bow….
