57° shot roughly 7:30 a.m. First deer I had seen, shot quartering away ran 70 yards. I’ve been training my mini wirehaired dachshund to track whitetail deer for a little less than a year. My dog Hank is a little over one year old. I put him on the track and he took us straight to the buck, very proud and a hunt I won’t forget. This is my wife in the picture, was too excited about my dog I never took a picture of just me and the buck.
