I started off hunting all morning and hearing gobbles on the roost. I called some toms and a hen in but the toms wouldn’t come close enough. I ended up driving around to scout around to see if I could relocate the group. I saw the hen on a different part of the property. I went into the property a couple hundred yards in front of her and began to call. A little while later she came sprinting in at my decoy and fanning. A smaller tom and some Jake’s followed her. I saw this guy trailing behind and got him to come to 20 yards from me and shot him around 1pm.
