Got to the shack early around 12:45pm. Settled in for the night, around 3:30 a spike came out and was feeding out in the picked corn got to watch him for about an hour before he walked off. The rest of the night was pretty slow, until about 5:00 when this buck stepped out around 100yds and for the first time in 5 years I was able to let the muzzleloader bark. He went about 70yards, and I was able to get a second shot in him in his bed and dispatched him quickly. I’m guessing with the 40mph gust of wind it caused my bullet to drift back and I hit him about 8” back from my point of aim on the first shot
