We have been tracking this deer for 3 years around a swampy bedding area. (See pics below) I was able to outsmarted this old buck during the leading edge of a cold front. He came into about 35 yards pushing a smaller buck. I made a perfect broadside shot, Hitting the heart and backside lung. He bound 60 yards before coming to his final resting place in some tall grass amongst the jack pines. Was also able to get my grandson’s first deer pics. Start them young.
