Started out saturday night i changed up spots to hunt because wasnt seeing alot of activity at my spot so i hunted my dads blind in the swamp. had a nice 5pt come in and bed down and right at dark this buck came in but didnt know for sure how many points but knew he was big. didnt risk the shot bc it got dark. went back to same spot sunday night and same 5pt came in then bout 15mins later the 8pt. he slowly walked in and pushed the 5pt out and he went to follow then luckily he turned and walked in towards me about 80 yards out in the shooting lane. walked over a stump and quartered just enough was able to shoot in front of right shoulder area kinda in the neck. dropped him in his tracks! was first nice big buck i seen in daylight since hunting from bow season. no snow and warmer weather made deer move weird at my spots but glad to finally connect with a nice swamp donkey!
