First time ever ground hunting with a bow…I set up on this ridge side over looking acorns and out of no where he shows up 15yds in front of me….I drew back 3 different times because he wouldn’t give me the right shot….then as I’m drawing back on the 3rd time my broadhead hits a little twig and he bust me before I’m in full draw….he then starts to trot away so I quickly stand up and draw back and the sun is smack dab in my eye balls but I knew he was roughly 30yds now so I sent it….and well not the ideal shot placement being in the neck…but I got the job done! Biggest buck in 10yrs first double drop tine!
