Got in my stand around 4pm. Figured I was in for a crap night as I bumped about a dozen deer on my way in and I had heavy swirling wind. Around 5:30 I started having some doe and smaller bucks come thru. After a bit they moved on and I was getting ready to call it an early evening as I had dinner plans. I started packing up at 6:30 and five minutes later I heard a couple bucks going at it about 100-150yards away out of my sight. I waited about 10 more minutes and a big 6pt and this 10pt walked in and we’re heading my way. He came to 17 yards and I hammered him with the mega meat. He went 65 yards, bedded down, and expired.
