Proud dad moment! Took my youngest (of hunting age) son out for his first youth hunt. He’s been waiting for his turn to get in the blind, practiced his shooting, learning where the kill shots were and prepping for this moment for years. His oldest brother took a 6 point opening morning, then his next older brother took a big doe with his papa while we were sitting in the next blind. He heard the shot and got a little impatient. I explained to him we had time and to just be patient like we practiced and talked about and sure enough this beauty walked in. He got up, took a few deep breaths and dropped him right there. The look on his face says it all!
