We obtained a new piece of property towards the end of the season. I put my reveal off of a trail leading into an ag field and started getting regular pics of several bucks including a crazy nontypical we nicknamed “freak nasty”. We went out in the pm on 12/22 and threw up a pop up blind and we had seen several small bucks and then freak nasty came out at about 500. He wasn’t a fan of the pop up. He stared at it for about 5 min and then started to walk away. My son shot him through a small hole in the brush with the crossbow and hypodermic rage. He went about 40 yds.
