Not the biggest or best buck I've shot, but it's kind of a cool story. Been watching this buck for the past 3 years. So I know he's at least 3 or 4 years old. Sat in the saddle that morning and didn't see or hear anything moving. I'm set up over a scrape on the edge of a oak filled tree-line and a soybean field. There was at least 30-45 minutes of daylight left, when he came in cruisin', stepping into the soybean field. He was on a mission, so I had to move quick. As soon as his back was towards me, I grabbed my bow, attached my release, and got ready. He lined up perfectly for a 20 yard broadside shot, dropped his head to eat, and that's when I drew back my Bowtech CP30. Let it fly, hit em double lung, and he didn't even go 50 yards. I didn't get ANYTHING last year, so the Lord blessed me this year.
