Tagged out Opening Weekend, and took my biggest MI buck with my 6yo son Weston in the blind with me. Opening morning we had a smaller 8 come through right at daylight. Half hour later we had a doe work through, and my son says “there’s two more deer coming, and one’s a big buck!” It was the “Big 8″, our #2 hit-lister. Scored 130 5/8”. He came in following the doe with another smaller 5pt. Gave me a 50 yard shot with the .450 BM.
Less than 24 hours latter, I was able to fill my second tag on another great MI 8pt who was harassing some does.
