Picked up a bow 3 months before the season started. First time ever hunting deer. I have been seeing a hand full of the same 8 pointers every night on camera in the middle of the night since Oct 1. Monday night everything lined up right I had a feeling I had a doe that was going to be hot soon and sure enough I had 2 does 20 yards infront of me and this buck walked to the tree line and snorted. I drew back way too early by the time he was out of the woods I had to let down. He went broad side maybe 15 yards infront of me and I couldn’t get my bow drawn back from shaking. Some how managed to and he quartered towards me so I let it fly, front heart shot the broad heat exited out his side and the flectching and nock were still in his heart. He ran 105yards and piled up. Words can’t describe the feeling having everything come together on a nice buck. Hooked for life.
