No one could make it up for deer camp this year, but me and my dad went out on opening morning anyhow, walked past about 6 trucks and found my valley. Sat for a half hour and I could hear deer moving down the hill in the thicket. I slow walked another 20 yards for a better view, and I heard a buck grunting and I hit my grunt call at him one time long and deep, walked out of the thick and onto the grill.
